Look Out for the Fitzgerald-Trouts!

"I really enjoyed this book. The characters in this book were very funny, and hopeful. I would rate this book ⅗ . I loved the art style they had it was sweet and simple. I would suggest this book for grade 7s and 6s. I liked how it's like their own little book sorta inside the book. Because they had some creatures inside the book that you wouldn't see in real life. Or things that wouldn't be real or true."

"The story turns at every corner, this book is exciting and adventurous. I think this book is a good grade 7 red cedar because it is a perfect length and keeps the reader wanting to know what will happen next. I enjoyed reading about the four children the Fitzgerald-Trouts. When children live without parents in a tiny green car things can get interesting. It's really exciting and fun to read about the adventurous children. I recommend this to readers who like a climax, action, adventure and twisting story. I can’t really find something about this book I don't like. I rate this 5/5 for many reasons such as action and adventure found it interesting how the illustrator used blue ink instead of black. If you are going to this book the story might turn faster than you think. Overall this book was excellent."

"I absolutely loved this book! It was so interesting. I was super intrigued by the book, and the cover was so detailed and did the book great justice. I would rate this book 5/5. It is my favourite book so far. My favourite part was when they went to the furniture store, and got locked in and had to sleep on the displays. My least favourite part was when they went to visit their TERRIBLE mother who had been sent to jail. I loved how their struggle of living in a car on a beach seemed so real. Sometimes that is a reality for people. I would recommend this book to someone who loves mystery and fantasy books."

"Funny, exciting, family. This book is very funny and cool. I liked how the family got into trouble but then helped each other get out of it. What I did not like is that the story was kinda confusing in some parts. I did not really like the book and I would rate it a 2/5. Overall, I think that this book would have been better for someone else in this class."

"This book was alright, I kind’ve liked it. My favourite part was when they found the home and stayed there for a bit. I would recommend this book to people who like adventures in books and who can really get into a long book. I would rate this book a 3/5 because it isn't the type of book that I like to read. I also liked how it showed a family tree because I was kind of confused."

"The words have me on edge, as I read I feel as if I’m there with the family! This book was jam packed with details and emotions. Usually, while I read a book I take breaks when I get uninterested but I couldn’t put this book down! I read through this book in a very short amount of time. Another thing I adored was how there were sometimes little doodles or pictures surrounding the story. I feel that makes reading a book a little bit more enjoyable. I think that this book is unique. For example, how the writing was blue instead of black. I noticed that there’s a second book and I hope to read that one very soon. I recommend this book to people who read about adventure and like some suspenseful moments while reading."

"I personally loved this book. It was very hilarious. It is about four, (now five...) kids. The youngest is in kindergarten, and the oldest is in grade six. They live in a little green car, all by themselves, and they have to find a house. I find that it would be extremely hard to live in a small car with three other kids. You would have to be able to drive, and handle any situation that comes towards your way. Like finding a baby placed in your car that turns out to be your sister. I liked the part where their mom and step dad got attacked by the iguanas. I didn't like the part where... Well, I liked all of the parts. I would recommend this book to a younger audience, but it is still suitable to our age. I would rate this book a 3.5/5, and it is a really good book. I would read this again."
