Half-Truths and Brazen Lies: An Honest Look At Lying

"Half-Truths and Brazen Lies takes a really good look at lying. I found some very interesting things in that book, and I also learned how to pick a liar out of a crowd. If I were to recommend this book to anyone, it would be my brother, friends, and my mother. It definitely is more for grades 4-6, however. I would give this book a 5/5, and that’s the minimum. Half-Truths and Brazen Lies is an amazing book, and I want to see more books like this one in the future."

"This is one of my favorite books. It's about how lies can make your life better or worse. But it also shows what happens if you get caught. I would rate this a 20-10 because I loved it sooooooooo much. "

"I found this book was a really good read. It's about lying, and why we do it. It has a lot of information, and also some fun pictures to look at as you read. It is a little short, but is still entertaining and informational at the same time. It has some pretty interesting topics like how to spot liars. I rate this book a ⅘ because of its length. I promise I'm not lying to you."

"This book was unlike most books I have read this year. This book taught me the difference between big lies, small lies, good lies and bad lies. Reading this book I improved my knowledge and learned some new things about lying. My parents always said not to lie, however sometimes telling white lies to protect someone is ok. In this book it really went in depth on different lies, situations and where it’s not alright to lie. I loved how they went back into the past and told how lying enhanced and helped developed our brains. Even though I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t really something I would usually read. I would rate this book a 4 out of 5. I would recommend this book to my fellow classmates who enjoy learning about debates on certain topics. This book really stretched my thinking!"
